gkltdd, what the hell are you talking about?
Dogs are Living creatures of God just like anyone/anything else and they should be treated with care as well.
True, I see what you're saying. However, you can't excuse what he did. NO type of mistreatment is good, whether it be an animal or a human being.

What would you do if God chose to take your life over a Dog's life?
Would you ***** about that?

Michael Vick is a product of his upbringing. Have you ever travelled through the South, in the poor parts?
That said, Vick is an adult and is responsible for knowing and following the law. He will need to pay the price.

I am not saying what he did was right but I do feel that his past should be taken into account...the fact that he has NEVER been in trouble before. His friends I believe were the ones actively running the fights & they just threw him under the Bus saying it was all him. Seriously, when would he have time to do all of it?
Not to mention that he even said " I grew up with dog fights". He admitted it & also it was a normal part of his life growing up.
I just hope the judge doesn't try to make an "example" out of him & keeps the case in context.

I think somewhere deep inside he must have been hurting sooo bad that his only way he could get some release is torturing poor animals. Dogfighting is gambling just like u do in vegas, but a different style. It is an addiction. I am not making excuses for him AT ALL but I do believe that all humans have the desire to be free from all pain and suffering and sometimes you act out on people and animals what you are feeling inside. What's done is done. He needs to spend the rest of his life in therapy. Those pooor dogs.

i think if he is truly guilty he should put in a room full of angry dogs covered in bacon. dog fighting is very cruel. i dont understand how someone can even watch let alone participate in it. he has setback the pitbull breed by at least 15 years. but i do think he deserves a fair trial and im highly suspect of all his friends turning against him all of the sudden. its hard to trust information from a person that is facing jail time

I'm really a fair weather fan when it comes to Football, but I love dogs. I think he is a self absorbed, ignorant , selfish male. I don't think he should play this year. He has a black mark on him from here on out. Nobody is going to forget what he did and even his so-called boys are telling on him. He is screwed in the head. I think he is disgusting and disgraceful. I think he should do time for his crime..He is gonna get booed every time he goes out on the field. He has embarrassed the whole Atlanta Falcon team.

I think it is very sad that someone who makes over a million dollars a year can't somehow live within constraints of the law (if that makes any sense) ...he cut his own throat. But if anyone is truly innocent then s/he should not take a plea deal.

I agree. The sports "heroes" are out of control and I think should be persecuted to the fullest extent of the law. They are beginning to act as though they are above the law. Somebody should slap some reality into them!

He is a lowly creature who reprehensibly abused his privilege and shirked his responsibilities as a role model and a human being. I would be delighted to see him destitute and miserable, left with nothing but his shame and guilt.

Not very good. I wonder if he sold tickets to watch the execution of losing dogs by gruesome means. It always shocks me how some people just seem to dig cruelty.

He has lost his chance to do promos for Vick's VapoRub.
I think his sentence should include rubbing VapoRub on his private parts and allow betting as to how long it will take him to twitch.
