One just likes to hide in the igloo so I took that and any kind of tube out. He can rest in his cage. Is that wrong of me? Or should I give him the tube and igloo back during play time?

I have 2 myself and nothing but food treats seems to make mine happy . Both are females but I still had to put them in separate cages because they didn't get along and would fight all the time. Just about any noise sends them running for cover so they do prefer having a tube or hiding place where they can go to feel secure. So I would recommend occasional treats they love that best I think .

Pull their shade down, so they'll have more privacy for $exual exploration. That should keep them entertained for awhile!
