My first answer would be, whoever eliminated the Wings.

Other than that, I think it's about time the Blues get a Cup.

Have to agree with the Blues pick there. Been in the league since '67, made the playoffs every year from 1980 until the lockout, went to the Cup finals under Scotty Bowman, and have provided some great rivalry games with my Wings. They've only missed the playoffs like 5 times in the entire history of the organization, and are one of the longest serving teams to not have a Stanley Cup banner. A rich hockey tradition, and traditionally good fans. St. Louis hoisting a Cup? Would not mind it. Of course, returning to the playoffs would probably be first on their list, but still, in hockey, it could happen (who saw the Hurricanes as Cup winners after the lockout?).

Well since the Wings are my favorite team then I would wanna see the Caps win the Cup cause they are my second favorite team plus I live pretty close to DC so I could probably get tickets to a playoff game or 2 which would be fun.

Living in Ohio, I have to vote for Columbus...but at least winning as many games as they lose would feel nearly like winning the Cup. My favorite team is the Avalanche, since Cleveland's new AHL team is affiliated with Colorado.

Since I'm a Devils fan, I guess I would pick the Rangers just to see how they would actually win the cup! haha I would also want to see how the big names work together as a team.

Well since I am a rabid Redwings fan since the early eighties.....if we cannot win the cup then I would hope that St Louis Blues would. They are my second favorite club.....followed by the rest of the original six.

I think the Anaheim Ducks are going to repeat. They have a good team. And they have added some more talent. They are still waiting on the undecided Scott Nediermieyer, but if he does return, they are going to be super strong. Giguere kicks butt in the goal, so he will keep the puck out. Plus, they have a lot of young fellows like Ryan Getzlaf to pull the team through tough times if they face injury problems. They did get Todd Bertuzzi, so that should help them too.

The Avalanche. Like my fav team, the Rangers, they made two big off-season signings and it'd be great to see a Rangers-Avalanche Stanley Cup Final.

So, I'm not allowed to pick the Black Hawks...........the team with the longest drought of any.

I am a hockey fan, I just love the game, so I don;t care who wins the Cup as long as the hockey is good and hard fought.

I'm gonna go big on this one and say the Blue Jackets deserve a cup....................................... (kidding of course)

I'd think it's high time the San Jose Sharks bring home a cup. But then the Canadians will be rolling over in their graves when ANOTHER "non-traditional hockey market" wins the championship.
