A certain poster who comes on every once in a while to ask how she and her horse look, if he is a rare color, and if he is cute, etc, etc, etc. Then, when she gets tired of answers, she deletes her question, so that when someone has spent 10 minutes on giving her an answer and they go to submit it, it is no longer there. Sorry, but does this bother any one else?

Paint Pony- Good point. But why did she delete her last question? I had a REALLY good answer. :(

Thank you to everyone who defended myself and Paint Pony on her question.

Paint Pony, if you didn't see, the whole Y!A world now knows we are "mean".

And, after she says "Fine, I won't delete anymore." she deletes another one. LOL.

I will also let everyone know I don't consider myself "mean". I spent a good amount of time giving her a nice/accurate answer on one of her ?'s, and when I went to post it, her question was gone.

Props to you for asking this! And most of us know who it is (cough em horsegal). Part of me feels bad, I mean she is a 12 year old (who by Y!A rules should not be posting) but at the same time DAMN is it annoying! Sweetheart, grow up and just enjoy your horse - we don't care about him not being a roan, really.
And yes to all you who say "just don't post" we could do that but hey if she is going to ask, I am going to answer. The problem is if she doesn't like your answer - bam! you get flagged for not saying her horsie is purdy.
Also to all the HoWrse people get a life, then a job and get a REAL horse, then come back and ask questions about it. We don't care about your HoWrse or your riding level on a stupid game, you shouldn't be at level 5 anyway, you didn't earn it.
One more - they are HORSES not horsies and like OMG totally cutsie writing is OBNOXIOUS. Learn how to spell and learn proper grammar coz its like totally annoying to try and read when you abbreviate everything. Please tell me this is not what our future generations are going to be like?!?!

In a forum like this as long as we don't use the nasty words we are basically self governing.

Most people capable of cohesive thought have figured out that there are a lot of folks on here that are anti-slaughter and there are a lot of folks who don't like it but acknowledge the problem runs deeper than just closing facilities.

There are folks who are raving fanatics (uh, that would be me) about sloppy breeding and people who think Parelli is the equine messiah and those who think he is plain silly.

So all that being said, if a question is asked along those topics (and others) you're going to get a lot of varied response.

I agree there should be some sort of etiquette for posting...Howrse questions should be identified in the title, gosh I love my horse isn't she cute should be identified somehow too. It's really a maturity issue b/c the lines are clearly drawn and it seems to be along those lines.

But until people start id'ing their questions such, so others can ignore the question if they wish, the best thing to do once someone has done this is not to answer their questions until they mature a bit.

Dear--the problem is this is an "answers" forum, not a "gloating" forum.

She is annoying, BUT at least she has realized that her horse is gray, and she is posting different pictures. And has not posted anymore about how much he is worth or how much his sire and dam sold for. She is getting better. Take a look at her last one. You will understand why she does this. She looks to be about 10 years old.

Edit: I think she deletes to avoid the points. She also will delete if there is one negative answer in the bunch. She just cannot take any form of criticism. But still asks for it. That is why I do not bother with her anymore. I let all of the OMG your horse is soooooooooo preeeeeeeeeeeeeetttttttttyyyyy! bunch answer her.

Edit: To make my point. She posted the question about how horsejumper and I could be so mean. We, along with a few others told her to grow up. And what happened? She deleted the question!.

Yep! I am going to have to get a Tshirt made that says "I was called mean on Yahoo Answers by a 12 year old". Breaks my heart.

I have had it happen with others and was hoping they would just rewrite the question for some reason. However it was deleted permanently.

It is frustrating I agree, to waste the time typing out these ginormous answers like I do and then the question get deleted. Mainly because they were wanting to hear something that they thought they should.

Truth isn't always easy to hear and I'm not one to sugar coat it either. I have made mistakes and you learn from those, I was just lucky those mistakes didn't kill me and I wish the same for others. Even though it would cut into my job security lol.

Yeah, I got an email from her about how mean I was, because she "is doing dressage!" Yippee for you h.g., but if you want to play with adults, you need to act like one. There have been several people on here that I would not have guessed as kids until they owned up to it, and I am a teacher that can usually spot one a mile away! If you can't take the criticism, stay on Young Rider and you will get lots of compliments, if that is what you are really looking for.

To RNJ Ranch - my soul sister! Amen, again!

People on "horses" are much nicer than the people on "dogs". I've seen some really nasty stuff over there. Once an asker asked for what attributes to expect if she adopted a "mongrel" puppy. Obviously this person just didn't know mongrel means mutt. Several answerers just told her how stupid she was and asked why she was wasting their time.

Wow, that girl drives me nuts too along with some others. *cough* (2016 oylmpics in dressage lyk yeh!) *cough* But deleting them is like saying I am insucure so I want you to say everything positive and I can't handle negative answers/not getting a ribbon/my pony not doing what I ask/and it gets worse and worse. Well life is not that way so grow up! She needs to realize that people are going to be mean to her (I will next time she comes around). She needs to get my 2 cents branded into her brain until she matures and takes it like a person, not a spoiled, everything needs to be positve, brat!

Hmmm... by any chance could this person be horsegal. Yes, I find her annoying too. If she doesn't want to be criticized, she shouldn't put the picture of the horse on Y! Answers.

UPDATE: She deleted her question again! So much for stopping that.

No. I don't pay much attention to these askers. Sorry. But I think they are looking for something to do and people to chat with. Then maybe feel goofy for having posted and shy off.

That kind of thing seems to happen everywhere... Just don't pay it any attention.
