Otherwise, it would be "them" dividing the country by supporting Bush's policies - and when 70% of the country opposes them, that's actually more correct.

I do not believe that opposing the governments policies are dividing the country...I believe the total intolerance from the left leaves no common ground that we can all unite on.

you have an exceedingly short memory. It became in many circumstances frowned upon to oppose Bush throughout his presidency. Objecting to a president's rules is AMERICAN - not unpatriotic. you could oppose Obama's rules all you want - that's not racist - that's in simple terms being political. The Tea occasion is justifiably indignant approximately specific issues however the way they are drawing near replace is in simple terms undeniable loopy so a techniques as i'm worried. they want "the government" out of their lives and overlook that the army are provided for by skill of the government, the conflict on maximum cancers is funded in super degree by skill of the government, and highways are geared up and paid for by skill of "the government". What they seem to overlook is that by skill of balloting they are the government so how are they going to get themselves out of their lives?

I'm sure you've probably noticed that many posters on this forum are very conservative. There are many who are afraid to question their government, but I think it's a right and a duty when there injustices being perpetrated by the current administration.
Those who question the government are not dividing this country. The president is.

No. I think that what is keeping us divided are some strong differences in political ideology. There are many conservatives such as myself, who aren't happy with Bush's performance, but does that mean that I'll give up my personal ideology to embrace socialism? No.

It depends on which policies you mean.
If you're against the tax cuts you want to keep the country dividided - - - - they've produced INCREASED revenue, so the only reason left to oppose them is you want to stick it to people who make a decent income, just for the sake of sticking it to them.
That's divisive.

It isn't the opposing that divides us, it is the constant and non-productive "Bush bashing" childish attacks from the leftwing.

If you have to ask you just don't know do you?
It's the policies that are destroying your country...having a donkey's a.s.s. as the poster boy just adds insult to injury.
