A home is where, you feel protected, loved, free from all the bad..
A home is filled with warmth, and yes a certain amount of Chaos... Puppy chasing the kids, puppy chasing the kitties, kids chasing the puppy... Etc...! LOL!
A home is where, nothing else should matter except for the times spent with those you love... The air is clean with a sweet scent...
Prayers are said.... And Gods spirit is begged to be in.... With out God, nothing really matters... Because a home would not be with out him... ♥
Love even in the darkest times a family might face would consume, and comfort all that needed it... Nothing is ever perfect, at least not right now... But home should be a safe haven inviting and with an open door no matter how big they get... ♥
My childrens laughter filling the air is too what makes this house a home... Their cute smiles and never ending love , always there with open arms embracing each day... ♥
Does it need to be totally clean like I so think at times? Not really, tidy but not spotless... I am seeing this now... It is the time we take with each other that makes this house a home.... ♥
YOU have the coolest questions... Ever!!! YOU know I think you are rare to find...

I think a house that is a lil messy, not nasty dirty, is more comfortable than a house that's spotless, because it doesn't show that anyone lives there, doesn't look like anyone spends much time there. And I think it's the people that make a house a home, if they love their home, and take pride in it, and also, the relationships between the people residing in a house...

Beautiful question. A home is where you and people you love live. Not live as in get, eat, clean etc. Live as in experience life, love, deal with pain... It's the people in it that makes the home, not the house.

When the people who live in it say that's the way it feels, then that's how it is. You can't make any one-size-fits-all blueprint. It's the melding of the personalities living under that roof that makes the place just a residential address, or a nest.

A woman that..
Has dinner cooked, and a beer in front of the tv, dressed in nothing but my favorite football teams jersey, and a thong, and sits down and cheers on my team with me. And makes sure the kids are out of the way.

It's a place that no matter how bad your day has been you know it will be there when you get home full of people you love.

Love, a happy family .....A home is also a place that does not have to be perfect. I have a cross stitch I made that says "My home is clean enough to be healthy and messy enough to be happy".

People. I was once stay overseas for three years. My falks visited me for a week. I then had home cook meal (I was single then), my own language conversations, video from my own local tv shows. It felt like home.
