My pet goldfish Lou came home late, with the smell of alcohol in his breath and a strange, brightly coloured scale attached to his cheek.
His wife is very upset (he is married, second time, with the triplets).
What should I do?

He was supposedly attending the monthly meeting of National Gold Fish Preservation society.

Funny my goldfish Captain Stubbing also came home stinking of booze (and perfume). Very difficult issue, perhaps one that should be discussed over a bottle or two of nice wine. Darn goldfish always getting into trouble.

This sounds like you need to use tough love in order to keep him on the straight and narrow.

Place his fish-bowl inside another bowl that is stocked with piranha. That way if his tries to leave his family again .... the Moat Patrol will either change his mind or have him for midnight snack & brunch the next day.

Lou sounds like he needs a lot of help. Maybe they should try counseling. They really need to think of the triplets.

Well, Well, Well
Lou, it is time you quit drinking out of the fishbowls of beer and womanizing!
Gee Lou, at least WRAP THAT WILLIE!
Second time and with triplets...
It is OBVIOUS you drink like a fish...
I say there is hope!
I have a wise snail who is a close friend of mine, GREAT THERAPIST!
Come and try him/her and he will slowly listen and not let you SPIRAL out of control!

Wow! Lou is quite the cheater and drinker. I think you should remind him that he has a family who love and look up to him. Maybe you should tell his wife to lock him out of the bowl if he does it again.

oh dear... you should give Lou the best you can afford, he might have a small case of fish depression from leaving all his friends. Make it seem even better than the Bahamas so he won't feel 'vacation-sick'

Sit him down and have a talking to with him.
This sort of behavior is inappropriate in a married young father.

Or check to be sure priscilla Pyrrhana didn't ply him with booze and ghb. She may be trying to become pregnant by him to win him back!

Ground him, tell him that if he does it again then you will have to take away his mating rights with his wife. Put him in a separate bowl like a betta bowl and tell him he's in solitary confinement until you say it's okay.

OOOO! The nerve of some goldfish!!
I s'pose all you can do is support his wife and kids, if the cheating bugger continues collecting coloured scales...
