Should I tell him I left the house? I told him that I did not go anywhere, but I went out for food and to talk to some friends. Should I tell him the truth, or keep it a secret?

tell him the truth. If you weren't doing anything wrong then there shouldn't be a problem. If you try and hide it then he will find out and not believe you when you tell him it was just dinner with some friends because that's innocent and you don't need to hide stuff like that. Tell him!! If you don't it'll come back to bite you in the a$$, trust me.

Are you not "allowed" to leave the house? I'm not sure why going out to eat and spending time with friends would be something you would lie about.

Yes, you should tell him you left the house. If he has a problem with that it seems you have other issues...

OMG is there a reason you can't leave the house? Are you not allowed to leave the house when he is not there??? Telling him that you went for food and to talk to friends should not be a big deal. My question is why is it such a big thing?

Ok, this is your 2nd off the wall question involving honesty. I have no clue what the deal with you and your hubby is, sounds like a real crappy relationship though. Best of luck to you. BTW did the door get busted while you were out when you weren't "supposed" to be?

Were you not allowed to leave the house? I dont understand why he would be upset that you grabbed a bite to eat with some friends.

I would be honest with him. No point in lying.

Are you kidding us? Does your husband really care if you went out for groceries? Does he control you that much?

If that's the case, get out of that relationship. Nothing good can come of it.

You sound like you are scared to tell him this stuff. Is he that controlling of you? Why is it not okay for you to eat and talk to your friends. You should be able to tell him these types of things w/out fear. If you don't tell him and he finds out (and he is controlling/jealous) won't that be worse for you.

If he is anything like me you better keep your mouth shut. I would hate for him to beat you with in an inch of your life for disobedience then chaining you to the radiator for a week so you don't forget.

you should tell him you finally went out and put the strip aerobics classes to good use. tell him you made $600. you know its a lie...put hopefully if he finds out the truth, it won't be as bad since he thinks you were dancing naked.

why aren't you going out when he's not home? you have the right to leave the house, i'd think.

being maried shouldn't be a jail sentence... you deserve time to enjoy yourself too.
