I did! I won a thousand dollars! It was hard too. The station smushed clips of 7 songs together and you had to figure out what songs they were and say them in the right order.
My friend and I were obsessed with it. We recorded it and played over and over. Then when you call in, you have to be a certain number caller. We definitely lucked out. We split the money since we both worked on it and both called in.

In the radio contest that I have won, they have always called me. Then when you go to the station to pick up your reward, you have to show an ID card to prove you are the person that won.

I actually received a phone call one time from a DJ at a local classic rock station telling me I had won free tickets to Steve Miller Band. I turned them down because the venue was too far from where I lived. I don't feel stupid one bit turning the tickets down.

My team from high school won a quiz show on CBC Radio One once. We got a trip to Toronto to appear on CBC Television

Yep I won a 12 pack of Code Red Mountain Dew when it first came out. Its amazing what they give away!

Yes, the best jingle for Armour Bacon was awarded 5 lbs of bacon. That was me. No one in my family ate pork so I ate it all.
