I have a huge bragging problem. I will inherit over 100 million dollars when I turn 21. I am currently 12, but have an I.Q. of 163 an am referred to as a genius. So many things are happening in my life right now, the press is annoying me and is writing such incorrect articles about my dad who donates millions a yr to foundations.

I'm losing so many possessions and can't help but brag about what I used to have. I have never been on a public plane, I only do private. The longest car ride I've been in is 30 min to a friends house, I always fly.

I feel so spoiled and hate bragging...I honestly do, but I can't help myself. It drives me crazy trying to stop. Its like resisting a mosquito bite itch.

I need help on how to stop bragging. I know why I'm bragging, its obviously because I'm ashamed of losing my possessions and am grasping onto the past.

Advice please?

You have a low self worth and bragging makes you feel more important than you are. Look within yourself and determine what YOUR interests are and cultivate them. Become a well rounded person. You could lose your money, but you would still be a valuable person because you have developed your own self worth.

It's like resisting a mosquito bite itch - that's an excellent descriptive phrase. You might have talent.
