...as early as 2004, Mel Brooks had been spouting off about writing the screenplay for "Spaceballs 2", but apparently this development has, for the time being, transmorphagrafied into the upcoming "Spaceballs: The Animated Series"
...of course, this just might be a warm-up for the eventual real deal!!!

No, there isn't. Mel Brooks has a running line in all of his movies stating that there is going to be a second part but he never makes it. He even does this in the titles, ex. History of the World Part 1.

yes...spaceballs 2: the search for more money......no i'm just messin' with ya, mel brookes seems to add the fact he is going to make a sequal, but its just another line of funny b.s.
