I would get a PS2. There is just a far larger variety of games. Also, I think the PS2 controller is more comfortable and easy to use. My hands are quite small, and I just never could get a "feel" for the bulkier X-Box controller.

Listen to these fools....Xbox is the better way to go. A. Xbox live beats the ps2 online system hands down. B. Games like Morrowind, Fable, KOTOR, Halo, and a bunch of others arent even on the ps2......plus the xbox has a better processor. C. Xbox has a built in harddrive, that can hold a HUUUUUGE amount of memory (Ive never gone under hte 15,000+ blocks rating, and Ive saved A LOT of games, plus no more memory cards) You can have up to 4 people on an xbox, without having to buy an extra hookup for addiontial controllers( PS2 can only hook up 2 without buying an accesorry...... whereas xbox can have 4) As you can see, you save a lot of money and have more fun playing on an xbox, but if you dont like money and good times, dont buy an xbox

I already own a PS2. But during the 'choosing' period, xbox never even crossed my mind...(sorry xbox lovers!)

ps2 it has beeter games and xbox overheats like after 2-3 hours and u hav to turn off and ps2 play as long as u want and ps2 has better games

I'd go for Xbox, you can even use your Xbox controllers these days on your PC with Vista. That rules!

Hard question dude. Look at the games that are console exclusive and see what you want more. Example Halo=xbox and metal gear=ps.

definately ps2 xbox is a bit complicated and ps2 games come in a bigger variety
