is it just me or do you think Chelsea have lost their edge and Liverpool are not looking any different from last year. Pundits keep say we can't give Chelsea a points advantage, so soon in the season but Chelsea have add a lot of luck and don't look convincing at all. Liverpool don't have that invinciblity look about them but (Other than goals) United are looking very hot.

what i mean is non of them look uncatchable. i remember when Chelsea won the league the first time, they had something about them that said, catch us if you can. None of them have this as far as i can see. Its lucky United are not scoring at the moment because we would have it wrapped up by Christmas

A reasonable question that deserves a reasonable reply. Unusual from me.
Yep, I think all the top four seem to have lost their edge and luck is playing a disproportionate part of the game. But as you know Utd almost always have a slow start and then go from strength to strength. Keep the faith.

i mean chelsea still are near the top of the table so either way you cant say that they lost their edge, 7 points in 3 games is still pretty good i would say for any team not just chelsea.
Liverpool does look to have the same slow start this past couple of seasons but they still finish strong and land second third or fourth on the table. and besides its the beginning of the season so you cant judge how teams will perform until maybe close to the midpoint of the season

and they got one of the toughest out the way.
united are playing well but not scoring, then good i hope it goes as well for them as it did for arsenal
dont forget chelsea handed united the title because of injuries, now look at are squad its the best its ever been.
if chelsea and liverpool are looking bad what does that make united.
scholes, giggs ageing
rooney dosent score many
ronaldo wont match last season
crap defence
and the only reason they have so much possesion is the y have 6 midfielders on the pitch.

Agree.
Chelsea have gone a goal down in all three matches (and needed the ref to bail them out against Liverpool). Even Mourinho can't have that much luck.
Liverpool, as good as they could be, don't look the finished article yet. Depends how quickly players like Torres can settle and how beat up Gerrards foot is.
United.
We've played worse and drubbed sides. We just need something to click, and then we'll be off.

Keep on passing man utd, by the time u score chelsea or liverpool would be 20points ahead. Dropping points against Pompey, Reading and Man City, wow, just imagine when they face the tougher ones.

Chelsea have lost their edge???? You are talking rubbish!! Its Utd who have lost their cutting edge and are now finding out exactly how hard it is to defend your title!! We are only three games in to the new season and Chelsea have played some good football in beating Brum and Reading and showed that we are ready to battle for every point...what have Utd done...played some neat football with little cutting edge...if that is what you call hot then you are going to have to be scorching for the rest of the season if you are going to keep up with the other 'big 3'!!!!!!

You must give teams time to make their mark. Liverpool may not be much better but they could sure as hell kick your team's ***. Chelsea have Didier Drogba and Lampard to get them the title. Yes that decision yesterday was bad, but come on. This is the thing about you man u fans, you are so arrogant and then you wonder why man u barely get any points. Well it's just beggining of season,in both case every teams have already planed some games to lose,there are always 5-6 clubs with who you play 3 for 3.Manchester games were all set-ups,do u people really believe in draws and all misses Tevez had...two words:"Bet & win" or "Villiem Hill"...lol sad but football become just about beting!

I think Liverpool look the most improved, the trouble with your game yesterday was you were doing too many passes without penetrating their defence, and Vidic got caught out, but at times last season he looked vulnerable.
