I know how you feel hun, I stopped asking questions as I get stupid violations for stupid reasons and no way to defend myself.... its silly. Problem is now all the fun is going and I am not on here half as much as I used to be.... all the best people get violated and deleted and the Trolls seem to get away with murder. About time Y!A's sorted this out else they going to be left with a site full of trolls, and no decent people x

The only thing I don't get and no one has explained to me is: why I got violated for posting nothing bad at all. I asked people to review my outfit I had put together. I wrote yahoo, but of course I got no response. Why do you think I got a violation?

I'm seriously thinking of leaving this site. I just got a really stupid notice of violation today and, of course, they never tell you what precious rule you supposedly violated. I can't see how it violated any of them. I've appealed it but yahoo doesn't take appeals seriously and I doubt I get more than an automated response saying that they can do as they please because they're yahoo. (They phrase it a little more tactfully than that but that's what it boils down to.)
I won't look for another site. I'll just find better things to do with my time.

Yahoo has been doing this for over a year now. There's no incentive to put together quality answers, when they frequently remove the question for unknown and unpredictable reasons.
The ability of the author of the question to remove it causes the same problem.

It's really been weird here lately. I have received a lot of violations, for no good reason. Seems like things have gotten out of control.

I checked out Dizzay.com and didn't stay. It's really bad as far as vulgar questions, avatars and answers. Even found out some of the ones there are coming here and bragging about what they do. I don't know about other sites.

I'm sorry if I seem a bit dim but how do you know that there are a lot violated,if they are not yours ? I have only come across it a couple of times when I have clicked on a question and discovered it had been removed but that is only rarely.Do they publish a list of them ?

This is my 11th account. Although I have always been treated unfairly by Yahoo Answers incompetent staff I keep coming back. Not that I think it is all that good, but I have made many friends here and realize Yahoo Answers is just a big joke anyway. Maybe someday they will fire their staff and get people who are responsible and intelligent to run it for us.
