Hey, the Iraq War isn't gonna last forever - even Bush wants it to end eventually - but we gotta keep the terrorists from following us home!

What if we pull our troops out, but instead of bringing them HOME, we pull them back to Guantanamo. Then, the terrorists - incapable of knowing how to get anywhere without following us - will just come to Gitmo, where we can have a giant sheet hanging in front of Camp X-Ray so the terrorists won't suspect, and then our soldiers exit out the back and lock the door behind them, and our other soldiers holding up the sheet just drop it and lock the front door, and the terrorists WON'T KNOW WHAT HIT THEM!

It will be just like on "24", only better!

And you know what? It will SERVE THEM RIGHT FOR TRYING TO FOLLOW US HOME!
---------------
POINT (for the reason-impaired): What stops a terrorist from leaving Iraq TODAY and coming over here? US troops in Iraq? So then how did they bomb Madrid and London while Spanish and British troops were in Iraq?

The "terrorists' are not waiting for us to leave Iraq. They are already trying to get here and anywhere else thay can do their deeds. There is nobody to follow us and we are not holding them at bay by "keeping" them in Iraq.

Mebbe we can tell them we are just going out for cigarettes. I think I saw your suggestion in a TV show "Scooby Doo meets Donald Rumsfeld" It was pretty good, Scooby, Shaggy and Rummy run around in circles in a bunker in Montana screaming "The Terrorists are coming, the terrorists are coming!" But Velma figures it out that it's just Bush funneling money to his croneys, Fred sets a trap and they pull the masks off of the terrorists and they are actually neo -Nazi Christian fundamentalists who want so save the US from sin. It was a great show.

It sounds crazy but it just might work! And put some bait in the middle of the camp, too, just in case they hang around the entrance, hesitant to go in. Maybe some virgins holding Korans, glistening with olive oil (the virgins, not the Korans).

Pure genius. I've been wondering why Georgie and his minions don't realize that even the terrorists have mapquest and can get here on their own.

That's bloody brilliant. Your mastery of grand strategy makes George Bush look like a child.

Its "superior" thinking like that, that started the whole 'war on terror' thing anyway. You dont happen to have an "Uncle George" or "Cousin Dubya" by any chance????
