You might want to investigate the job requirements your local elementary school requires for teachers. There are also Federal, State and City requirements, as well. Usually there are specific college/graduate school level classes an individual must take in order to be accepted in this field, so your best bet is to research this carefully.

It appears you need to check into Elementary Education as your major.
Ask the people in the Psychology Department what their graduates do after they graduate from the program.
I would be very surprised if anyone went into teaching at the elementary level.

Probably not. Check with just about any college or university's education department. They can give you the requirements for elementary education teachers in your state.

I actually have a level in Human progression with a concentration in new child progression, and a minor in Psych. I went that course because of fact on the time i became uncertain as to what field i had to pass into (training or social amenities) i think of the plan you have will artwork, extraordinarily on account that your going for you Masters. and you will even have the skill to (in case you decide on or choose to) amplify your occupation into human amenities, to boot. the will arises to call the DOE on your state to get extra definitive solutions to what your particular states standards are. BTW: in case you decide on for a masters, your undergrad won't probably count. it is going to in trouble-free terms play a function in case you attempt to get a coaching activity earlier getting the masters; or perhaps then i think of your ok.
