PJ Harvey. Her voice is so gritty and real. She doesn't try to sound beautiful. You can hear every emotion in her voice. Tori would be my second favorite, but I just love Polly Jane.

Tori Amos. I love her voice, it's so distinctive. She has a good range as well and can go really high or quite low. Her songs are amazing too. The lyrics are always quite bizarre.
