I don't mind it & here's a bit of info for some skeptics:
According to the website "Gender Specific Colors," it would seem that
assigning color to gender is mostly a 20th century trait. It would
also seem that at one time, the color associations were reversed when
color first came into use as a gender identifier.
In fact, this reversal of what we consider "normal" was considered
conventional, even in the early 20th century.
"At one point pink was considered more of a boy's color, (as a
watered-down red, which is a fierce color) and blue was more for
girls. The associate of pink with bold, dramatic red clearly affected
its use for boys. An American newspaper in 1914 advised mothers, "If
you like the color note on the little one's garments, use pink for the
boy and blue for the girl, if you are a follower of convention." [The
Sunday Sentinal, March 29, 1914.]
"There has been a great diversity of opinion on the subject, but the
generally accepted rule is pink for the boy and blue for the girl. The
reason is that pink being a more decided and stronger color is more
suitable for the boy, while blue, which is more delicate and dainty,
is prettier for the girl." [Ladies Home Journal, June, 1918]
Here is another site backing the same color history.
"The preferred color to dress young boys in was pink! Blue was
reserved for girls as it was considered the paler, more dainty of the
two colors, and pink was thought to be the stronger (akin to red). It
was not until WWII that the colors were reversed and pink was used for
girls and blue for boys..." - Quote from Dress Maker Magazine

some people can pull it off and some can't. Not many can pull of a pink REGULAR shirt, but like a dressy shirt, yes. Pink tie? Yes. One could end up looking really sharp in a pink shirt or tie, or they could end up looking silly...i think it depends on your personality and your build.

Brave....they have forgotten about Man Law. I bet they don't look straight ahead while at the urinal either.
I wouldn't be caught in one of those.
However, I have seen some very nice pink dress shirts and ties. I almost want one but then I think about "Man Law".

I'd know it was originally white but he put it in the wash with a red item and, hey presto, he got a brand spanking new pink shirt or tie!

personally, i don't like pink. if i found a shirt or tie with pink as an accent color, maybe i'd wear it, but i think only certain men can carry off pink.
they have to be really big and really masculine

i live in the south in an affluent area, so this is nothing strange. pastels on men in white collar jobs is commonplace down here.
besides, i like it. i think it can be really cute! a pink shirt with a cute green striped tie can look really great on the right guy.

Only a real man can wear pink. If he is confident enough about himself he can pull off anything. Light pink usually looks ok - the brighter colors not so much.

i think a guy that wears feminie colors like that is usually strong, confident, and not afraid to show his stylish side, unless you can tell they are full on gay, which either way it sdoesnt matter but a straight guy in a hot black or brown suit with a bright pink shirt and tie looks pretty hot to me!!!

it's just a color people, how can a color make a person gay? Please. Women wear blue all the time nobody says anything about that. I like a sharp dressed man, no matter what color he's in. It takes a real man to defend himself when he wears a color that's considered "feminine." My husband has a teal shirt that the guys at the office tease him about when he wears it. I think it's hella sexy!

It depends if he pulls it off or not. A pink tie by itself is no harm, a pink shirt might be a bit iffy, but if it goes with the jacket then there's no harm
