If all you need is SP2 and not the XP operating system then you can also download this one so that it can be run locally from any computer.

If you have a valid copy of Windows XP, yes you can get SP2 from the Microsoft Update page. See the webpage from Microsoft below. There are preparations that yopu need to make before downloading it (such as full malware scans, checking for updates to your hardware/firmware, etc). Click on the "How" at the bottom of the page. You may also just want to order the CD from Microsoft. It used toi be free although shipping and handling charges may apply.

Yes you can download SP2 if you go to start all programs and windows update and look to the right of the screen it will say download Sp2 hope this helps
