Sure, as we grow and mature, I think most of us think the way that we think. I'm far more logical now than when I was a child. I'm less fearful. I'm far more confident.

Of course...we all do to some degree. As we mature and learn, we often change our perspectives on things. That is just a part of maturing and growing up. You must do a certain amount of changing to be able to be a productive adult.
For example (and, mind you, these are simplistic but make my point and keep in mind I grew up in the 60's and 70's): When I was younger, I thought the government had our best interests at heart, that newspapers couldn't print lies, that you couldn't have a baby unless you were married, that thunder was Angels in Heaven bowling (and the lightening was a "strike"!!!)..and that I would someday marry either Donny Osmond or David Cassidy. As I have matured, I have found that none of those are true.
As an adult, because of some of my experiences (really bad auto accident..becoming a widow, loosing my Dad suddenly) I have changed my way of looking at things...and this has changed my perspective on life itself. In life, you should always be growing, evolving and learning new things and seeing things from different angles. To not grow and change is to be stagnant and ignorant of the world around you.
All, IMHO, of course.

Good Lord yes. I would hope that life experience would change anyone's way of thinking.

If you think the same way at 30 as you did at 15, you have not been paying attention.

Absolutely! I have learned many things over the years. Not the least of which is not to judge, because you never know what tomorrow brings for you. A lifetime of experience should, and does, change your perspective on things.

OH, Yes! When I was small, I thought pretty much as my mother told me to think. As I grew up, becoming more educated, meeting new people, thinking for myself.........I found that I am much more open to people, to other cultures, to reacting to things in a much more mellow way than my mother did. My morals have not changed............mine are pretty much firm for MYSELF...........and only for myself. Other people have the right to have their own moral code, and I've learned it is not for me to judge anyone. As long as the next person's arm does not hit my nose, that person has the right to swing it at will. (That person must not hit anyone else, either, because I would step in to protect).

the answer is yes, changing from employee to employer and the bottom line of making my employees as successful as I am was a big change.

I only wanted people who did not want to work for me, but wanted their own business, they were the best students and best workers, and my thinking was always changing to allow for changes in business.

also, being in iraq for a year changed my mind about the peaceful religion. honor killing ..... kidnapping sex slaves.....I can go on, but my thinking has changed forever

so yes,
people who are able to adapt, and thrive must be able to change their thinking while retaining core values of fidelity, honor, integrity, and humor......

hope this answers your question
