I don't pretend that it would mean the end of hostilities in Iraq or Afghanistan, but yes when we leave Iraq...I will celebrate

no person thinks Bush will withdraw from Iraq, the two people who agree or disagree with him think of that. i think of this is totally no longer likely that Bush and Cheney would be impeached and removed from workplace (yet it incredibly is yet another question). so as meaning we will not see withdrawal till a minimum of 2009. The question is: Will our new president withdraw the troops? all the Democratic applicants and different the Republicans say they're going to, yet i'm sufficiently previous to bear in mind yet another election consistent with yet another unpopular conflict. Nixon mentioned he had a 'secret plan' to end the conflict, yet as quickly as he have been given in workplace he discovered it to his very own political benefit to maintain the conflict going yet another 4 years, in fact increasing troop power and widening the conflict from Vietnam to Laos and Cambodia. certainly that wars like this are lots much less stressful to get into than to get out of. those human beings who adversarial the conflict from the beginning up knew this getting in.

I will rejoice when there are no more deaths - American or Iraqi. But, since they have been killing each other for hundreds of years, I doubt if that will happen.

As an American, I will be satisfied when no more Americans are killed fighting for something that can't be won - a united Iraq.

I think it's sad when a nation like ours can't come togeather in support of anything we go thru. No matter what it be. In the last decade there has been no uniting in anything except for maybe 15 min. of 9/11. It is the saddest thing I've seen in all my years.

I am pro-troops, so yes I will rejoice when they are all back home, just like I did when I supported them in Nam. I really feel sorry for all others that were whining about it, now they will have to find something else to whine about.

They won't. Be withdrawn I mean. The plan is well underway and there is no turning back now. If you understood what the plan was then you wouldn't even be asking this question and I have mentioned it too many times to say it again.

Yeah… that’s great. Maybe they will get someone like Saddam again so he can defy UN sanctions and not allow inspectors in and threaten the world by SAYING he has WMD’s and torturing his own people by shoving them off of roofs among many other horrible acts… Yeah, it’ll be great if you have a really short memory coupled with a hate Bush blinding insanity.

Maybe the new totalitarian leader will be a socialist again just like Saddam right? Maybe he will gas more of his countrymen. We know libs love them socialists!

I have no vested interest in the outcome of the occupation of Iraq. I know no one serving in the military. I know no Iraqis. I don't live in a political/economic hub (ie - terrorist target). I couldn't care less.

Absolutely! That'll be the same day Bush and his oilers finally get their asses out of the government.
