You normally have great visibility from a flybridge. But that type of boat is higher and can be subject to more of the effects of wind then an express type boat. I used to think a flybridge was the way to go but since I got my express thats the only type I would get.

I have a 48'sport fish 19' high bridge it is the easiest boat to maneuver as it can rotate in it's own space. Docking & backing into a slip easy. With twin diesel. On sea level there is no visiblity to your seroundings.Wind dosen't effect a boat of that weight unless it's 25 knt an above.Small boats with a bridge are heavy enough you just have to know how to operate the boat with twins. Single engine are a lot harder as there is no control in reverse an drift a lot??

Actually I think it's a little harder to drive the boat from the flybridge. You can see great, but you are not as stable on your feet or seated as you are at the helm.
