I dont usually have any concerns about my birth control, because I always take them correctly. But last Friday, when I was taking my pill before bed, I saw I was taking Thursdays pill. I looked closer in my pack and saw that a week and a half ago, I had mistakenly took a green sugar pill, instead of my white one. I usually take them in my room at night while it is dark, so that is why it took me so long to notice. Anyways, on Friday I went ahead and took Thursday and Fridays pill. And I had been taking white ones every day since that one day. Do you think I need to be concerned about anything. Or no?

No don't be concerned. The sugar pill has no hormone in it and as long as u doubled up your pills when you noticed, everything should be fine and dandy.

First and foremost it's a really good idea to take any medication in a well lit area ! I mean you should see what you are taking... Take it before/after you brush your teeth in the bathroom.. Just be sure the light is on and that you are taking the right pill ! I don't think there's anything to be too concerned about, however if you aren't taking the pill properly to begin with it's probably best that your partner wears a condom anyway. Just to be on the safe side.. good luck "you need it"

no, you should be fine, but i would suggest using a condom or some other form of protection until you start your new pack.
missing that one pill doesn't decrease it's effectiveness THAT much.
i did this before and read the insert for the pills and it just suggested using another form of birth control until a new pack is started.

take care;)
