No, it's not evolution, it's economics.
People are fat in America because of the availability of cheap calories. Imagine how much food is available to you every day -- as much as you could ever want, right?
In Africa, etc, it is the opposite. Either there is not enough food or people can't afford it.

If anything, you take a group of people who are "chronically" underfed, they should according to evolutionary theory, eventually adapt to not needing as much food. There is actually some studies that show that people who undereat...but eat very healthy food...will live longer than people of "normal" weight and diet.
However, I will say that if you throw fat people and skinny people into a situation where they are not given access to food, the fat people WILL live longer than the skinny people. No big surprise...They can live off of their fat stores, whereas the skinny people don't have those stores, so they die of starvation. But that is a short-term scenario, not something that happens over generations.

Evolution simply means change. The U.S. is getting fatter b/c they have adopted to a change that catters to the other side of greed, which is not healthy for them.
Unhealthy people will become weaker...die off and become undesirable to others. People will not want to mate with them b/c they are program to pick healthy. Its a trend that may not die out for a while.

I thought evolution relied on the theory of the survival of the fittest. I would estimate that over 95% of Africans are fitter than you. So in the end they win, because if you are too fat you wont be able to procreate.

I do the Catholic quickly throughout Lent - rather of three nutrients an afternoon, you narrow back your self to eating one well-known meal in line with day, plus 2 gentle snacks quite than your different 2 nutrients, and then not something in between. it quite is a tribulation, despite the fact that that's not that undesirable after an afternoon or 2. You get used to it. astounding eating conduct - consistent feeding or consistent no-nutrients fasting - is probably not that sturdy for you interior the long-term. i'm thinking they could wreak havoc alongside with your blood sugar ranges, if for no different reason.

Fatness kills too. Although anyone fat left over after a nuclear fallout will survive a lot longer than skinny 'healthy' folks. Its a nice thought

The difference is Capitalism. It can feed the world if other countries would only accept it. Look at how much life is improving in China since they allowed some capitalist reforms.

Evolution requires time.
I understand your point, but we won't be considered to have "evolved" to fat people until the entire human race is obese and that obesity is considered normal. I don't think that will happen, since obese people are unhealthy and less likely to procreate successfully.

I think if that's a real picture of you, you're not growing stronger, you're growing fatter, and thats unhealthy...
You need to see a doctor because obesity is not a good thing...

Unfortunately, getting fatter doesn't = getting stronger.
Quite the opposite.
Especially when those who are hungry and lean come to kill your fat azz.
