The lineups might not be the best players, but what I think would be awesome combinations of passing, scoring, speed and physical play.

1st team
LW: Bobby Hull, C: Gretzky, RW: Bossy
D: Orr, Stevens
G: Roy

2nd team
LW: Richard; C: Lemieux; RW: Howe
D: Bourque, Coffey
G: Sawchuk

3rd team
LW: Robitaille C: Clarke RW: Lafleur
D: Potvin, Pronger
G: Brodeur

So an actual team not just an all-star team.
G--Hall, Vachon and Ranford
(Roy sucked as a Team Canada goalie by the way)
D--Orr, D. Potvin, Bourque, L. Murphy, Robinson, S. Savard
Lines--Perreault-Gretzky-Lafleur ('81's best line until Gilbert broke his leg)
Bossy-Trottier (before he became a USA guy)-Neely
Hawerchuk-Gilmour-Propp (underrated '87 line)
checking line C. Ramsey-Clarke-Tonelli

extra--M. Lemieux to slot in when Perreault breaks his leg again.

left out--Crosby...not quite at Gretz's level yet

Coach--Mike Keenan (hey, two Canada Cups proves he's a winner...would never have him coach my NHL team but int'l play...no prob)

D

Eddie Shore and Bobby Orr
Allan Stanley and Paul Coffey

F
C - Wayne Gretzky
RW - Mike Bossy
LW - Bobby Hull

C - Mario Lemieux
RW - Maurice Richard
LW - Luc Robitaille

C - Phil Esposito
RW - Gordie Howe
LW - Mark Messier (Messier was a left winger his first three seasons in the NHL and was 2nd Team All-Star at the Left Wing position)

C - Guy Carbonneau
RW - Cam Neely
LW - Cy Denneny

13th Forward - Frank McGee, 14 goals in a Stanley Cup game - he must be good! Plus, he's ythe Hockey Hall of Fame as a Rover!

Coach: Scotty Bowman

Almost all of the players I picked were known for their defensive abilities as well as their offensive abilities (Gretzky was known inside the league as a strong backchecker, but he was never praised for it outside it).
