How would you describe western society? What's a word you would use to describe us and why? My word would be wreckless. . . Oh and how do we influence other countries? THOUGHTS?

Its much more complicated then just one word.
And different parts of America think differently, I live in L.A. and was in San Fransico this weakend. Two competely different people live only 328 miles apart.
But overall I like to "hope" that Western Society in general is Progressive.

Western society is democratic. This is the same thing as a failed meritocracy. It fails because the democratic process requires input from unmeritous persons. But unless you're a brainwashed religious nut, it's the best thing going.

There relatively isn't any such element as Judeo-Christian values or traditions. the alterations between Judaism and Christianity is stark and massive. additionally it seems you're an undergraduate pupil majoring in political technological know-how. Our society has extra foundation in John Lockes artwork than it does Platos. i might re examine "The Republic" in the previous finals.

The word I would use which sums it up is FREEDOM. Freedom to choose the lifestyle I want, to encourage my children to follow their dreams, to make up my own mind. And much, much more.
