A friend I had in college; he not only went through a roommate nearly each quarter for four years, he would storm around campus if a meal in the student union wasn'r served to his standards. He never saw rays of sunshine, I don't think.

Yes I have. They were impossible to talk too and they were a complete downer. They always rejected any solution to a problem. I got tired of it and quit hanging around them. There was absolutely nothing I could do for them. It was exasperating.

Yes, my grandparents and that is because they NEVER had anything of material value but were blessed with children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. That was what made them happy.

Wouldn't it be wonderful to really feel like that today?

my husband... he is a glass 1/2 full kinda guy. i swear he finds a reason to complain about EVERYTHING!! (from rush hour traffic to the quality of 'not from concentrate' orange juice)

he is such a freakin' grump & he's only 26... he's too young to be such a pessimist

but he'd travel to the moon for me.. so i guess i gotta luv him unconditionally for better or for worse *lol*

Yes, several---Come to mind, But---My mother, She could not even please her self---My mother-in-law---Never satisfied with any gift---------But I lucked out in the long run, My husband was easy to please with any food on the table, any way I managed the house, and thoughtful between the sheets. The good out weighed our differences, we had those too.
