1. Be happy.
2. There is more to offer.
Happiness is not so much a matter of having what you want, but wanting what you have.

We are isolated from our real nature which is supreme happiness. So life has an infinite amount of happiness to offer... you simply have to find it. Socrates said "know thyself." He was not speaking about knowing your favorite color or trivial things like that. He was speaking about what in some circles is called the "Great I Am." The latter chapters of this on line resource will explain it.
But yes, you should be and you will be happy... there is much more to life that we can ever even imagine.

One can be happy, but one should never be forced to be happy. (That, in essense, it not true happiness.) It depends if one is content or satisfied with what they already possess or if true happiness for one is the pursuit itself.
There is always more to seek and to offer as well if so one chooses.

The hope of more to come and more on offer makes one happy... just need to take care not to crystallize hope into expectations!!

There's always more. Are you happy and content with what you've got, or do you want to keep looking for more? Your choice.
