You should talk to your teacher about this. I would ask for extra help and try to stick it out.

yes it is hard, but then so is life.
Do not start down the road of quitting just because things are difficult. It gets easier and easier until you just quit everything. If you are a HS freshman, then think hard about going into regular classes. Once you go there, you cannot go back into honors, you stay general or college prep. As competitive that colleges and scholarships are becoming, you need as much advantage as you can get. A designation of "with honors" or similar will help you stand out.
Good luck, stick with it.

Very few good things in life come to us without hard work. The fact that you're in an honors class as a freshman says something about your potential for an outstanding academic future. Talk to your teacher about how you feel, she/he will be able to help. Stick with it, the payoff is worth it. Good luck.

Hmmm, I don't know how your school runs, that is,whether you would be able to take this class later in your HS years. I would speak with your teacher and parents about this. As to not knowing anything, it is my general impression that not many people (probably including the people in your class) know much these days. Good luck.

Being in an Honours type does not mean something on your transcript. notwithstanding in case you're finding to be in an AP type (which (no offense) does not look like it), then I say drop it. while those Universities look at your transcript they provide the impact of being on the mark. while the colleges look at your transcript with an AP mark then its a diverse tale, an AP type is on the brink of college point, meaning they think bearing directly to the difficulty of the class.
