I remember when...?

we would get up early on saturday mornings and watch the smurfs, fat albertm, and the jackson 5 cartoons

i would get punished and never once thought about calling the police.

we had to physically get up and turn the television. u know the one with the wire hanger and foil paper on it.

we would run to the neighborhood candy house everyday after school and buy pickles and nowlatas :) then eat them together

what do u remember????

i remember taking a bath in the rain when the waters are not yet polluted.

i remember making bubbles with soap and gumamela flowers.

i remember hearing the sounds of frogs singing during rainy days.

how nice it is to be young again - so worryless and carefree...no credit cards to pay, no deadlines to beat, no car to take to the car wash.

i remember jaberwocky and that artist guy on saturday mornings, and real cartoons, ALL day!
i remember getting spanked by the babysitter and nobody calling the police.
i remember having to stay by the wall mounted telephone for the whole conversation

I remember when in grammar school we had to wear dresses and the dresses had to hit the floor if you got on your knees, remember that $35.00 at the grocery store would feed a family of four nicely.

Threatening to dial the police on my parents, and then one day i actually did. They were like ambulance/fire emergency etc. and i said wooopsi wrong number. Have you ever dialed the 'wrong number' and ended up with the police?

preferred Droopy and would watch a specific western, detective or adventure show on television then my schoolmates and I would act it out on Saturday afternoons.

I REMEMBER EVERY SUNDAY EVENING, WATCHING THE WALT DISNEY MOVIES.

THE MICKY MOUSE CLUB WAS THE BIGGEST HIT.

BEING OUT SIDE WAS MORE IN THAN BEING INSIDE. (ROLLER SKATING AROUND THE NEIGHBORHOOD WITH OUT WORRYING ABOUT BEING ABDUCTED.)
