McDonald's has sold off all its investments in Chipotle this past year . In 1998 McDonald's became a large investor and actually owned about 90 percent of the shares .. In 2005 they announced that they would sell off a minority of their investments.. In 2006 they announced they would sell off all remaining shares and all investments in the company .McDonald's still owns "Boston Market" .. although I never have eaten there or would .. Chipolte still uses all really free range pigs but only 1/2 its chicken are free and 1/3 of its cows .. When I say free range I mean these animals actually graze and are not penned or caged ,they are not fed antibiotics (or drugs) , and are fed a vegetarian diet .. It is the better of the evils in the sense of animal cruelty and they do use about 20 percent organics .. It is a small start to big problem ..

McDonald's did at one point own Chipotle, but as of 2006, they no longer own them.

Yes, that's why the food is so bland at Chipotle. I don't care how much hot sauce you put on it if you do not season the meat before it goes on the flame it will be bland.
