We are hated by most other societies on Earth because of our patronizing "rich uncle" way of controlling things. If that doesn't work, then we'll resort to bullying.
Now George W. Bush has taken all this one step further as he has virtually overturned the Posse Comitatus Act of 1878, which prohibited the use of federal troops within U.S. borders. Effectively, Bush now has the power to declare martial law without even advising Congress!!

Imagine what this might mean just prior to the 2008 elections: another 'terrorist attack' is staged, this time in the Midwest so that those of us in the "heartland" are more emotionally affected than we were during 9-11. So, Chicago or St. Louis gets hit with a "terrorist attack" at O'Hare Airport or the St. Louis Arch. Bush is ordered by his handlers (who control the country from behind-the-scenes) to declare martial law, claiming that a change in administration would not be in the "nation's best interests". The '08 elections are waived. Bush remain as President until the "threat" subsides. Bush tacticians plan more "terrorist attacks" by unknown members of the "evil empire", instilling fear in the citizenry.
In February, 1933, a fire broke out in the Reichstag building in Germany. Hitler suspended all liberties and gave the central government total control, resulting in his becoming absolute supreme ruler and dictator. Can the same scenario happen in the United States? Of course!
Especially when you consider how arrogant, cowardly, and corrupt our U.S. Congress has become. The last Republican-led Congress stood by and turned its back as Bush ran rip shod over our Constitution and declared an unconstitutional, illegal, unjustifiable, immoral 'war' against another sovereign nation that in now way threatened, provoked or attacked the United States.
Our current Democratic-led Congress was elected on its promise to end this wicked 'war', and - to date - has not had the backbone to stand up and keep that promise. In fact, you now have front-running Democratic Presidential candidates claiming this 'war' cannot be ended anytime soon because it is too difficult and complicated! If a President can order soldiers to 'war' on a whim, a President ought to be able to order soldiers home on a whim.
'Do it our way - or else" is quickly becoming the motto by which Bush and future U.S. Presidents will also control, manipulate, and dominate the American population. -RKO- 08/20/07

According to Penis Clinton and the Bullshit Father and Son (but not according to what you have quoted the Bullshit Son saying, pretending to be "humble, truthful and a peace lover"), indeed, "freedom" means "do it our way, or else".
I would like to add, that your quotation of G.W. Bullshit is an indication to how people who suffer from an Anti-Social Syndrome" know how to pretend to be "pleasant, friendly and caring about others".

It does indeed and when people dont do it the American way, the US will seek to deny them freedom such as when they toppled the democraticlly elected government of Salvatore Allende in Chile and replaced it with the murderous dictatorship of General Pinochet

Yes, when it refers to Pres. Bush (aka; God/Little Hitler).
He thinks whatever he says goes. No matter if the people don't want it. He thinks whatever he does is right, even when it is in violation of the law. He has proven this time and time again. It all began with his getting away with stealing the 1st election.

Humble yes. But ignore potential threats to our safety, no way. I have some issues with Bush, but not on the war on terror.

America's attitude of late has been either do it our way or it is the highway. This not only includes countries but charities.
