I have wondered that myself as well Susan...Its sad to me that American Pride is so rare now and the fact we rely so much on foreign imports...I long for the past at times and wish we ,as a Country(USA) could be self sufficient..=)Great Q!

they are trying to do what they have been already doing for years, we are just more aware and on top of the issue because we are at war!!!! Don't think for one minute that they were not already trying, know it as fact. The USA has always been hated, disrespected, and targeted. We are just more a tuned to it. It's sad and a shame, but very true.

Nah. We poison ourselves without them. We just need to be careful buying so much crap from overseas. We will see a day when we will speak Chinese if we don't start buying American made.

IMHO- Our economy is tanking right now. What better way to get everyone to buy US products than to make them think imported goods will make them sick?

Pretty scary. I think it's all economical. Pushed to produce even cheaper than already dirt cheap goods, quality assurance goes by the wayside.

I'm especially worried about imports from Japan. I hear they've been trying to rip us off and do what they can to break trading relations with us.

well...that's why they are called foreign imports....sometimes there is a need for imports if the rules allow them...maybe what your talking about is the half-race players that keeps popping out of nowhere in a team..you'll just go like "whoah! who is that? where is he from?"
