You have hit a nerve with me on this one! Over 14.3% children live in poverty; 2.7 million are neglected or abused, more and more are dropping out of school and out of life; suicide among teenagers is on the rise; adolescent children are having children; they are killing each other, and they are killing their future.
Society has alot to blame for our children acting like adults!! subjecting them to adult scenarios and expecting them to "grow up and stop crying cause Daddy/Mommy has to work" Too many people in our nation are disconnected, caring little and doing less. Children are growing up seeing violence as their only option, their only voice.
So... for me i cant stand to see a child act as an adult..
let them be children.

Life's too short to always act like an adult. You gotta let loose sometimes and act like a kid. Kids are always having fun, without a care in the world!
On the flip side, children shouldn't try to act like adults. There's plenty of time for that later.

Children acting like adults. Adults act like children when they play with their babies, don't they? And we don't have a problem with that. It's socially accepted. Children who act like adults do so immaturely and for show-off reasons, and that leads to trouble.
