All I remember is these tourists travel back in time to watch major disasters, one being the explosion of a baseball stadium, the other mid-air collision of two planes. The time travellers had a book with some initials on it (I don't remember what they were), but in the end, the creator of the time machine discovers one of these books and makes the time machine in the first place, making a sort of paradox!
Please help as it's driving me nuts!

There was one that I remember being called Paradox that was renamed Millennium
They were not tourists though.. they would come back in time to the scene of a disaster.. (using an almanac if I remember correctly) They would make the people involved sleep.. they would then take them off site and replace them with synthetic people who looked like them.. I dont' remember if they were trying to repopulate their time, or if it was some other reason..
If they changed anything however they risked a paradox which would completely change everything in their own time.. most likely killing them..
I actually bought it on dvd a few years ago.. I had vivid memories of it as a kid.. and managed to find it under the new name by sheer luck.
