I have a Video Ipod and the headphone jack just messed up for no reason, and sound only works on one headphone. There nothing wrong with the headphones because i tried another pair. I sent it in for repair today because it is under warranty. Its only 3 months old. My question is, will they just replace the headphone jack, or give me a new Ipod? I sent in my Ipod Nano once because the screen was messed up (not cracked) and they sent me a brand new Ipod instead of putting in a new screen. That would be awesome if they gave me a new Ipod Video because mine has a bunch of scratches on it lol......soo does anyone know?

Thanx

I'm not sure if they'll actually send you a new one. I guess it depends on how serious the damage is. I know who had his iPod Nano replaced because the screen froze --- I would call that serious. I think they'd try to fix your iPod video first, before they decide to send you a brand new one.

I hope they send you a new one, though! :p

you mean the thing where you plug in the headphones and not the headphones itself...well then you might wanna bring it in to see a mac genius at your local apple store and they might be able to do something with it. they might replace that one too
