Knowing what time to plant the seeds to have them ready for spring is a major part of the planning process.
If I were you I would contact nearest Extention for the state you live in.

Hi:
I owned a 20X30 greenhouse for over ten years. I had over 5,000 seedlings during the winter months. My first question is what climate do you live in? I am in the southern part of the United States and got a commercial heating and air unit. When propagating any seed, the temperatures for each seed may vary. During the winter months I would keep the greenhouse temperature at 68 degrees. Staying somewhere within a few degrees of the 68 will grow almost all herbs, flowers or vegetables. You should have the option to do any of your favorite plants if you have some good heat and air movement. Take a look at my website on landscape solutions. I will take you to a page on growing from seed. I hope this has helped a little and if you need further advise, just contact me and I would be happy to help you.

Hi There,
If you go onto the Thompson Morgan website (seeds) have a look at the nursery growing / commerical area. They list seeds according to the time of year for flowering and sowing.
If you have a local wyevale garden centre they currently have all there seeds at 50p....
Hope that helps
Mel

The answer to your question depends on whether you can keep your green house frost free during the winter, this is of paramount importance, every thing else can be perfect but will fail if you are unable to provide a frost free g'house. If you can do this the possibilities are endless.
