Its projected path is way south of Brownsville, TX, and by the looks of it, the worse the US will face is just some wind and some rain. Nothing too bad.

There is always a chance that Dean could head due north, but highly unlikely.

No, the projected path of Dean will lead it mostly to Brownsville, but don't be a bit surprised that you get higher than normal waves from him.
