As I taught my two sons when they were little, if you would not do it if your Mother and Father were looking, it is wrong. If you would not do it if a policeman was looking it is wrong. If you would not do it if any authority figure was looking it is wrong. If you would not admit to doing it, it is wrong.

True character is doing the right thing even when no one is looking.
