You are wrong and misinformed. Azeri Genocide is real. You can check the links.
However,Armenian Genocide is not based on any real proves but propagandas.

No where in international records exists any information that confirms Armenians committed Genocide.
At best those claiming Genocide by Armenians have serious chip on their shoulders, especially from the Azeri side, who on all accounts started a war, started pogroms against Armenians, lost the war, and now make false claims of Genocide.
What I find very alarming is the use of fabricated sources by Azeris & Turks, in particular they reffer to a handfull of books that they claim were written by Armenians such as " Revival of Our Souls" where the author confesses to a horrific killing of an Azeri boy.
Upon some research I discovered most of sources were fake and fabriocated, the Book was never written, never published and only seems to exists in the pathethic minds of those that fabricate it.
Genocide is a word Coined by Rafael Lemkin in 1943 from the rooted words genos (Greek for family, tribe, or race) and -cide (Latin for killing). to describe the killings of Armenians & Jews as stated in an interview in 1948 CBS watch here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=021ilh609gw

I have done some research on this subject, and what I have found is that Azerbaijan was the aggressor in the conflict. I have also found no counts of Genocide against Azeri citizens listed against Armenians by the UN or NATO.

I am not sure if the person asking or being supported on this question have done much research, but accusing people of Genocide anywhere is a big deal that armature historians like myself take serious.

I have also found out that Turkey did a blockade on Armenia cutting it off from routes to Europe in trade. I have also found out that Turkey was the first nation to commit Genocide in last century during WW1 against the Armenians, who are Christian, while they are Sunni Muslim. The Genocide committed cost over 1.2 -1.5 Million Armenian lives. The Greek population on the East was deported in the multi millions.

I have also read that when the voting happened in the district of Nagarno Karabagh ( the disputed area ) Thousands of Ethnic Armenians were attacked in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan, and hundreds of them were raped and killed by violent mobs that kept official protection out to eradicate the population in the city. I believe with the intervention of Russia, the population was saved and escorted out of the country.

The conflict in 1988 cost the lives of a lot of Armenians during the winter time because of the lack of fuel to heat the homes. I have also read that Armenia’s voted in the region to be united with Armenia because the land was not official Azeri because the USSR had no borders at the time.

The region that is known as Nagarno Karabagh was, and is Armenian dominated region that was invaded by Azeri forces when the region decided to attach itself to Armenia.

On February 20, 1988, interethnic fighting between the ethnic Armenians of Nagorno-Karabakh and Azerbaijanis broke out shortly after the parliament of Nagorno-Karabakh, an autonomous oblast in Azerbaijan, voted to unify the region with Armenia. The Nagorno-Karabakh war pitted Armenians of Nagorno-Karabakh, backed by Armenia, against the Army of Azerbaijan. Following the Armenian victory, both Azerbaijan and Turkey closed their borders and imposed a blockade which they retain to this day. These events severely affected the economy of the fledgling republic, and closed off its main routes to Europe.

I believe this article shows that a military force invaded a peaceful non military standing area. That means that people living normal lives were forced to defend themselves.

From my research, I have found no such standing military army on the Armenian side, but a minute man militia group that had no regular Armenian military forces in it.

I would find that a humiliating defeat by a small population of people against a military force invading the region. I have also found Congressman have visited the region and supported the Armenians.

It is hard to say why anyone would bring up charges of Genocide against a people being invaded, but it is clear that most likely this a politically based question that was listed, and I believe other historians should stand up against false allegations like this.

Armenia must not commit another genocide because it is a violation of the human rights of the people that they want to exterminate.
