I have an Apple ipod video 30gb. How can i arrange the songs in it. There are about 1000 songs that i have and i want to give them names and arrange them according to my choice. How can i do that.

Make playlists of the songs you like. For example, I use iTunes to make playlists for different genres of music. One playlist might have all my favorite radio tunes. Another might have all my favorite rock or classical tunes. Go to "File" and choose "create new playlist". It should be easy from there.

launch your iPod then locate music app on the backside left you may desire to confirm playlists hit that then delete all of them. (music won't delete) Now make a playlist call it and positioned the songs you opt for in there

you have to create a play list of what songs you want and arrange them how you want them
if you don't do it that way you only have the options of artist, album, genre... that sort of way
i do/did mine by play lists to get my most often played faves, work out music, line dance faves, kids stuff etc

open itunes then on the devices pane click your ipod and then arrange you're songs
