I spent all day yesterday trying to think of an answer to this question and seriously was not able to come up with any real disadvantage.
Not being able to meet? I have already met one friend from YA, and plans are underway for a little girlie meeting with several others very soon ISA.
Missing those who are not here? Sure we do, but they are always in our prayers and in in our hearts.
Addiction? Well, of course it is addictive, but so is any other thing I'll do instead like TV or arts and crafts.
So, to answer your question, NO DISADVANTAGES! OUR FAMILY HERE IS GREAT!

I think it's a privilege to be a member of this big family, especially, Egypt section. I feel like home already.

the advantage is that we understand each other and can communicate easily.
the disadvantage is that there are intruders who have bad intentions. this happens here only. in the other categories our enemies arent in every corner as it happens here.
therefore, i sometimes CHOOSE to leave this section to have some fresh air in another one.
it's very annoying because we donr start a fight . they always bark , and bark, till we are disgusted.

More than a disadvantage I could tell you it is mmmmmmmm I don't know.
But this is my point:
THAT I WISH MORE AND MORE TO MEET IN PERSON ALL MY YAHOO FRIENDS AND FOR THAT I NEED A LOT OF MONEY TO TRAVEL.

Because sometimes there is a problem prevent us from logging to Y/A & that's makes us miss alot of events & miss users as we used to log in yahoo answer daily.

the only disadvantage is that i like to be in here more than other things that i should like more instead.
