I have a bitchy sister in law!!! Well the worst thing you can do is tell your brother or husband(whichever the bitchy sis comes from) that you don't like her, it'll just make tension between he two of you.
The thought of killing her still crosses my mind every time i see her but it makes you feel alto better if you do things she doesn't like but no one else knows. Hard to explain really but for examples...
1) I made chili for dinner and put cayenne peppers in her bowl, everyone loved it and she couldn't stop sweating (hahaha not attractive)
2) At Christmas we draw names I got hers so I bought her this shirt my grandmother would have worn and I acted super sincere when I gave it too her. Then weeks later when she still hadn't worn it I asked in front of everyone if there was a reason and if she didn't like it maybe I could borrow it back.
This has helped me a lot.
Good Luck.

I have a bitchy sis in law...I won't say I have been very successful but I try.
I think the best way to disarm her is to act very supportive, pander to her ego and only say things that she wants to hear. compliment her a lot, abt her home, kids, cooking whatever...this can usually stump her.
if she has kids, maybe you can take the kids out for a day or if you can help with any other chore, that way she wud think twice before bein bitchy.
keep away fm her, meet her as less as possible - out of sight is out of mind
If nothin works....get bitchy urself...like they say if you can't beat em join em!!

I have four of them. I never got along without entertaining the thought of killing them. That's how I maintain my civility. When dealing with them, instead of bludgeoning them with the first object I can reach, I just dream about it.
That way, when they are being their normal selves, I can just stand there and smile. Ahhhhh, happy thoughts..............

First husband had no sisters. Second husband had a sister I never met. Third husband had two half-sisters I never met. Fourth husband's sister I met at his memorial service, and she was very decent to me. So I never had a bitchy sister-in-law as far as I know.

I sure have. She can be nice one minute and a Bit!! the next minute. The only way I can get along with her is to stay as far as possible from her.

I have, in fact had that displeasure. My twin bro's first wife hated me from day one.
At first I tolerated it, but it got to the point where I just told her stay the hell away or live with the regret that you didn't listen. That solved the problem.

I avoid 2 of them totally, in fear of acting on impulse. The other one is young and hasn't a clue she is starting to turn out just like them. It's not looking good!!!
