The amount of holier than thou comments Ive seen from people telling us to stop giving the McCanns a hard time and demanding that we oppologise is unbelieveable!

Why cant you people see what is front of your faces?

How can you support people (regardless of if they are involved or not) who are as stupid enough to leave their small children alone?

How will YOU feel when they are found guilty and all this time you have supported them?

The facts are there, the coincidences are there, all the things that just dont add up are there.
Lets face it, you've only got to look at that Gerry to know his concience is not exactly clear.......

Tell you what if Gerry and Kate are 'involved', I would love to see the following peoples reaction:

The Pope
Gordon Brown
David Beckham
J K Rowling
English Rugby Team
The entire Premier League
... the list goes on.

There arent enough eggs in the world to be able to be wiped off the faces of all the people who are involved in this mess.

Yeah the McCann's did make a mistake up, BIG Time, and now (some would say) that they are paying for it. But the truth is this girl has gone missing and, unfortunately, is now thought to be dead. I feel sorry for the little girl and I hope to God that she is still alive somewhere. Find Maddie McCann!!!

I see no reason why you would need to apologise, you have not stated the McCanns are involved in Maddie's disappearance you have just stated quite rightly that they are guilty of leaving their children alone on the night Maddie disappeared, no on can argue this is fact.

Youre a sick individual to believe that you have any right to pass judgement on this family. Where exactly are you getting your information from when the police haven't made a single statement about the direction of their enquiries? I just hope you never get to do jury duty!

I don't think Gerry's friend actually killed Maddy because the McCanns have been experts at pointing the finger at possible abducters ie Murat, so if Gerry suspected that one of the Tapas 9 killed her he would have said as much. But I do think one of them helped to dispose of the body which had previously been killed by the McCanns (by accident) They are all in it together.

I am so with you. One thing I have learnt since Maddie was abandoned by her parents is that so many people actually think it's OK to do this or as many pro McCanns have put it "a mistake". We all know Gerry and Kate think it's completely normal behaviour to leave babies on their own but it appears a large amount of people on YA do too - rather disturbing don't you think? We can only hope that they don't have children.

Those people who support the Mccann's will never change their position, they see leaving children alone every night (without even checking on them) as acceptable parenting, it was only one mistake after all! The rest of us see such parenting as totally unacceptable, whatever happened to Madeleine, the Mccann's must share the guilt between them.
Pro and Anti's will never agree on the parents, but at least we all agree about the little girl, hoping she is OK and upset that she probably isn't.

'Oppologise'??? What is attacking the family on a forum like this going to gain? If you have real info contact the police, if not, I can't see how it will bring the little girl back.

oh no not another jerk who is trying to make us feel guilty for feeling the parents pain. NO-ONE on either side agrees that leaving the children was the right thing to do, BUT some of us parents can have a shred of compassion for the parents, the overwhelming feeling of guilt knowing that the child is gone forever and has possibly suffered abuse must be heartbreaking, i know i couldn't go on feeling that way. no-one is asking anyone to apologise and they people who are blaming the parents for killing maddie may well also have a lot to apologise for when the truth comes to light. they left their kids alone, maddie went missing end of story !

Luckily for us, "look at that Gerry to know his conscience is not exactly clear ...." isn't an indication of guilt. That is an assumption on your part. Possibly fuelled by prejudice.

I can see exactly what is in front of my face. This is it: this computer. Other than that, I have no evidence of anything.

And I certainly don't see the parents as evil. What possible reason have you got to think so?

But for the record: I believe that Madeleine was taken by someone. If I am wrong, I will certainly apologise, but I don't quite know who to.
Why on earth should I feel anything other than sadness that a little girl was murdered by her parents?
Let's wait and see, shall we?
