4) Give them more than they have asked for, for free if possible.
5) Go the extra mile to make them feel like they matter.

I always love when someone talks to me like a real person and genuinely cares. Most of the time when you go into a store people are obligated to greet you a certain way and you can tell. It's usally not very friendly. To see you smile and enjoying life would make me happy too.
