The urinary tract is about as wide as a cooked spaghetti noodle. There is no way you could have put a tampon in there. Chances are, you may not have the tampon in far enough or you may just be feeling the pressure from the tampon. That is normal. Just relax and know that you will get better at this in time. We all had to learn...never fear, dear!

I don't think that's possible. There are only 2 holes, and you'd know if you'd put it in the wrong one for sure. Tampons can make it feel very different to go to the toilet. Try a mini tampon for starters, and it sounds as if you haven't inserted it enough so it may be putting pressure on the passage your urine comes out. Check that you've inserted it far enough.
The women who work in pharmacies are used to this sort of thing, so why not go to the local chemist to ask them?

There's no way you've inserted the tampon into the hole that you pee from. You'll be able to pee normally with a tampon in.
Your biggest thing probably is relaxing. Since you're new to tampons, you're probably very nervous. It's okay. Just relax and you'll be able to pee just fine. =]
