If by 2200dpi you mean 2200x2200 NO SUCH printer.

If you can accept the "claimed" 2400 dpi that means 2400x600, then it's possible.

The Konica Minolta range are very good, and lower cost, but slightly higher per page running costs (ideal for lower volume use)

OKI are also good printers, although they are LED not laser, similar technology however. Good glossy prints on decent paper too.

HP are expensive to buy, but should cost less per page to run, and also produce good prints.

I' suggest making a PDF of a file you know and ask a dealer to print it on doifferent machines to let you see how they compare

You are easily going to be spending about $500+ for a co lour laser printer.
Konica MInolata sells cheap colour lasers like a Magicolor 2400 at 2400 X 600 DPI. At the lower end the cartirdges cost a fortune (about $500 to replicate the set ) that is excluding drum and image transfer belt. Konicas are known to break down quickly. You also have to be caredful, even though almost every colour laser printer will baost a 1200 X 1200 Dpi, that is often for black only.

Currently HP does not make a colour laser pritner capable of printing at that high a DPI.
