The Great Khali: Hot or Not?

Do you think that the Great Khali is a good choice for Smackdown champion, yes or no?

In the beginning, I thought that Khali would be like Big Show on curry, but Khali has actually grown on me. Yes, he moves like Frankenstein's monster, but his move set has slowly but surely improved. With the addition of his two iron claw techniques, the so-called Punjab Nightmare, I think that Khali will make an entertaining champion.

So what do you think? If you don't like Khali, then who would you have as champion of Smackdown?

Oh yeah, and Runjin Singh is awsome. The WWE has actually found someone more bland than Michael Cole. The way he translates for Khali, it's like he's translating for the UN Security Council or something.

You see the Great Khali deserve championships. He is the most powerful wrestler alive today. The Great Khali can't wrestle!

What the hell? What does he do in the ring then? Check out his match with Shawn Michaels and then tell me that he can't wrestle. He has been into Pehlwani Wrestling (Indian Traditional Wrestling) since 1995 and has been with companies like All Pro Wrestling and New Japan Pro Wrestling prior to coming to WWE. Also, let me assure you that The Great Khali can perform a lot of moves and work awesome wrestling matches, which can be witnessed by looking at his videos.The Great Khali cannot sell moves!

YEAH RIGHT... duh.. of course The Great Khali can sell moves and I must say he sells moves much better than Big Show, Kane and MANY other wrestlers including some legends (I won't say this about The Undertaker since he is in the gimmick that doesn't sell moves). Anyways if you saw the Wrestlemania match between Khali and Kane, you could see he sold the powerbomb well, he even sold the F-U's (including the one off the crane) to John Cena pretty nicely throughout their feud, he has sold a lot of moves to The Undertaker back in their last man standing match and The Great Khali also regularly sells moves to even smaller opponents, like he visibly stammers a bit when hit with full force by smaller wrestlers. (Unlike Umaga, Kane, Boogeyman etc. who laugh at Chair shots) Therefore The Great Khali is absolutely awesome at selling moves.
This is just wrong, The Great Khali has all the charisma needed to get over with the fans. Its just that his current gimmick does not allow him to get over with the fans in a positive way. HOWEVER, as far as getting "over" with the fans for the heel part is concerned, The Great Khali is quite over with the crowd whenever he steps into the ring. But for those of you who believe he has no charisma, well... lets say, The Great Khali's huge structure itself is enough to attract all the charisma he needs, plus he is a heel wrestler right now, so that kind of decreases the charisma factor. If he turns FACE however, The Great Khali will be VERY popular among the crowd. For example check this video out. The crowd thought that The Great Khali was with John Cena so they cheered for him and did his signature taunt even. You could feel it in the video that Khali could be good as a face too. Plus, since he's acting a heel now, you could hear Public reaction to him always.


So this clears up quite a lot of stuff about The Great Khali and gives an answer to his critics! Anyways Khali Fans, if you encounter anyone dissing Khali over any of the above points, feel free to copy paste the answers mentioned here (with credit of course, heh).

You know what guys, most of the people cannot stand Khali because either of the following points:-

- They are racist.
- They cannot stand anyone taking out their favorite wrestlers.
- They are used to seeing cruiserweights jump around and find a giant wrestler odd.
- They are the same people who think that wrestling sucks
- They are Undertaker's marks and have been holding a grudge against Khali ever since he squashed The Undertaker.

And of course the most common point...

- They are flowing the way WWE wants them to, which means that they hate Khali since he is presented by WWE as a heel wrestler.

Khali is a horrible champion, but not due to lack of wrestling skill or entertaining ability. It's because the staff is going to have a really hard time thinking of a way to have him lose the title. There are only three people on Smackdown who I think could possibly have the title dropped to them. First of all, the obvious choice: Batista. Boring. I say let someone else be champ. Second, Kane. If I remember correctly Kane was at one time recently either the number one contender or very close to it. What happened? Edge got injured and they handed it off to Khali instead... And third, the Undertaker. I may be biased because he's my favorite wrestler, but I think he is the best choice of the three. I don't approve of the way they had him lose the title last spring. If you don't remember, it took a cage match against Batista, a beatdown from Mark Henry, and two spears from Edge before Edge pinned him. Grrr... Anyways, I'd pick the Undertaker.

Khali is definitely NOT hot--he's a nightmare and terrible wrestler, can't speak anything else but in different tongues (yes, I know he can speak English in reality), and just knows how to do two techniques (the Iron Claw from Hell). I really don't like him because every time someone says something, and Runjin translates it back to Khali, the poor sap gets hurt because what they say gets twisted.

I would rather have Batista as champion because he at least knows how to wrestle (compared to Khali) and is the rightful owner of the title, so I think he deserves to get it back. Plus, I think he will be able to stand up to Khali at SummerSlam and dodge whatever the Punjabi Punisher throws at him.

Great Khali is the best and perhaps the most dominating champion in the History of champion, he beat Batista and Kane and so he deserves the championship. I personally think that most people who hate Khali are Americans, because they dont want any Asian to be Champ. If you come to India most people love Great Khali and I want.Khali to be the Champ. He will surely beat Batista at Summerslam and show that Batista is a little baby in front of him. Khali can speak English.

The Great Khali SOOO doesnt deserve to be The World Heavyweight Champion....I mean....WHAT DOES HE DO??!!?? seriously..he just has a power advantage but i seriously dont understand what he is doing for the WWE!

The Grewat Khali has improved a lot & u will see the outcomes in the near future.
His looks have imoroved, his skills. Just about everything.
