Pro choice, its our right, its either ruin 1 life or 2. Its not murder, they have no personality, no memories, no life, no contribution to society, they aren't anything at the time they are aborted. Im for the death penalty too even though they are people, who are loved, who do matter to some people. Thats murder... but its justified by what they did to get there.

Well, its a very big thing.

1. I don't like to un-necessarily bring an end to any life.

However, if we were to start labelling abortion as murder, then that would constitue a human death. I believe human is human from the moment of conception, no later. However, if that is the case, then all pre-natal deaths would be considered human deaths. As a society, we must investigate these.

How do we know when a miscarriage is just an unfortunate accident or something more sinister. Mothers would have to go through grueling investigations because, for some reason, the human in their care died.

Can you see where this would end up? Court cases and Investigations lasting, well, years, possibly, trying to determin the cause of pre-natal death.

Add to this the scenarios where a women can not possibly, for one reason or another, carry a child to term, if mentally capable at all. As unfair and cruel as it is, it may end up being one or the other. In this case, the unborn child, being a human with rights, would have to give consent to be killed (otherwise, its murder).

This is the argument, Abortion should be outruled because it kills without consent: murder. However, that would mean miscarriages would need to be percieved as a human death with requirements for investigation.

Can you see the circular logic?

I think it is important NOT to outrule abortion. I think it is more important to educate all people about ALL their choices, and to inform them about what exactly happens to the unborn fetus when they kill it.

I suggest watching the film "Silent Scream" on youtube.

Abortions is such an emotional subject for some people. My thoughts are....if someone was raped or knew their baby would be born with a serious illness that would not give this child a normal life, I think it would be the mothers choice. Now on the other hand, I don't think that being irresponcible with a boyfriend...or one night stand should end in abortion. If the mother isn't ready for a child, I think she should carry it to term and then give it up for adoption.

personally i am neither pro choice or pro life. i personally believe abortion is wrong but believe that a women should have the right to choice but only with the permission of the father. i mean if the law is going to make the guy pay for his child a man should also have the right to keep his child alive.

I am pro choice. I personally couldn't do it(unless I was raped) and I think girls who do should be praised for doing such a hard thing. Also women who give their babies up for adoption, I know I could never do it, It must take so much strength. Who is anyone to tell a woman what she is aloud to do with her own body. It is their choice no one Else's. Not yours not the government not even the fathers, It is that woman's choice only...end of story. If you think its murder then don't do it. But don't tell others they cant do what is best for their life and bodies at that moment. PRO CHOICE!!!

I am pro choice. I believe it is wrong and it is taking a life. There is so many other options now. The choice of having an abortion is something the mother has to face and deal with for the rest of her life. Abortion is not the answer to an unwanted pregnancy.

I think that under CERTAIN circumstances, it is ok. Like, for example, in Darfur. If you were a woman who was raped there and is completely incapable of providing for the child, then maybe you could consider an abortion, if no one else could care for the child.

But, if you were just messing around with some guy and ended up pregnant, you should either keep the child or adopt her or him out to a family that can support the child.

Why should a child have to pay for your irresponibility?

I would not be alive today if either sets of grandparents had chosen abortions.

But overall, I believe that abortion is wrong. I don't care what some people say, the instant the child is conceived, it is a living person.

I am kinda torn. On one side I see that it is murder....because a fetus is a living human being. On the other hand I feel that who is anyone to say what you are to do with your body? It should be your choice, not government saying how you should or should'nt handle such a personal situation, such as abortion. I myself would never abort my unborn child, unless I was raped and became pregnant. I guess I am hoping that people will make the right decision on their own, without being told too, but that rarely happens nowadays. I still think it should be the woman's choice; she is the one going to have to live with her decision and sin, not anyone else.

Pro Choice, but not a choice to be made lightly.

I, too, am pro choice. I don't believe that they should be used frequently, and I also believe that anyone that goes through the process, should have to go through a course (or courses) to prove that they're aware of what the hell they're doing out there.
