when i was 19, and my husband was 25, we worked at a campground where our 50 year old boss wanted to have sex with my husband. we also lived there, and just before we moved, she fired me and told me i could not leave out of my apartment unless i was getting into my car and leaving. she didn't want my husband to take breaks and come up to the apartment when i made his supper, and she wanted me to give her his clothes(socks, underware, shirts, everything) to wash because i wasn't washing them good enough. when i went out of the state for a week, she got my husband drunk and asked him to have sex with her, so my husband finally listened to me and decided we needed to leave

generally, if i don't like a job, i leave. but i'd have to say my worst job would have to have been as a truckdriver delivering products to this discount store chain. i liked it at first, but then it became hell. i had to unload a trailer full of boxes onto these rollers by myself. that wasn't even the worst part. most of these stores are in ghettos and the employees were usually very lazy and slow. sometimes i'd be in a trailer in the freezing cold for hours. major suckeroo. i left that job.

When I left school at 16 I had a Saturday job at a fancy dress shop. The costumes were dirty and rubbish. I was ashamed to have to try and get people to hire these out. Also the shop had no toilet, which ended up with me having a little accident.

I had to wear a space suit and mask and go into buildings which had had fires to salvage goods and documents and clean them up. It was scary and very stinky and sooty. (but sometimes kind of fun in a nosy way)

Also, years ago doing telephone market research for Maccas to find out what people preferred to eat take-away. Everyone working on it got so jaded and hated Maccas and I reckon half of the surveys were fudged and THAT'S actually how they decided to introduce 'Healthy Choices' here...haha

I can't tell you exactly because of the contract that I had to sign, but it was a food factory. They made salsa, and other things in bulk for resteraunts. Food would get onto the floor, and onto your shoes, and I would come home smelling awful. I did this for 2 weeks out of desperation.

Working in plant where they made composite components using fiberglass in the process.
That stuff like to have ate me alive. Had to throw away ten pairs of jeans, and ten shirts away along with all the underwear and socks I wore at work. Couldn't get the fiberglass out of them.

Telemarketing for Habitat for Humanity. They had us calling every charity in the city to see if they would donate to Habitat. How stupid is that? Hi, Local Homeless Shelter, would you like to donate money to Habitat for Humanity?
I lasted one day.

Pet sitter. I had to go into strangers' houses, make friends with & walk their dogs, pick up dog poop, scoop litter boxes and give medicines to animals that didn't know or necessarily like me.
